Zephyr Protocol Network Incident – June 15
On June 15, 2025, the Zephyr Protocol Network experienced a major disruption. The blockchain became desynchronized, resulting in a complete pause in mining operations.
Both the Zephyr Protocol development team and our pool engineers were immediately informed and began working on a resolution. The situation highlighted the importance of robust blockchain infrastructure, and we will continue to monitor for any follow-up issues. Thank you for your patience during the incident.
Ergo Protocol v6.0.0 – Soft-Fork Activation
The Ergo team has released Ergo Protocol Reference Client v6.0.0, introducing support for the long-awaited EIP-50 soft-fork.
Key Details:
- This release includes voting code for the soft-fork.
- Nodes will automatically vote in favor of EIP-50 starting at block height 1,561,601.
- To opt out of voting, update your configuration with:
ergo { ... voting { 120 = 0 ... } }
More details on EIP-50 can be found in the official proposal: EIP-50 on GitHub.
Kaspa (KAS) Block Reward Reduction
