<\/p>\nJune 2026 was a busy month at 2Miners. We launched a brand-new pool for Pearl (PRL), Zcash pushed through an emergency soft fork and hard fork to close the Orchard vulnerability, we refreshed our Beam, Kaspa, Ergo, and CKB nodes, Kaspa went through its scheduled reward reduction, and we retired two coins from the pool \u2014 Neoxa and Cortex.<\/p>\n

We added a pool for Pearl (PRL)<\/strong>, one of the more interesting launches of the year. Pearl is a GPU-mined coin with a twist: instead of wasted hashing, miners run real AI-style matrix math on Nvidia and AMD cards (proof-of-useful-work). It is already live on 2Miners \u2014 both POOL and SOLO.<\/p>\n Check profitability on 2CryptoCalc<\/a> and start on the PRL pool<\/a> or PRL SOLO<\/a>. A full deep-dive guide on Pearl is coming soon.<\/p>\n June brought the most important Zcash event in years. A soundness flaw was found in the Orchard shielded-pool proof circuit that could, in theory, be used to counterfeit ZEC inside the shielded pool. The privacy of existing funds and the 21M supply cap were not<\/strong> affected, and there is no evidence the flaw was ever exploited \u2014 but it required an immediate, coordinated fix.<\/p>\n Zcash developers, together with key network participants, responded in two phases:<\/p>\n What it means for miners on 2Miners:<\/strong><\/p>\n The upgrade is complete and the network is being closely monitored. Mining continues on the ZEC pool<\/a> and ZEC SOLO<\/a>.<\/p>\n We also refreshed several coin nodes this month.<\/p>\n Beam shipped its sixth hard fork (“HF6”) as an emergency network upgrade. This is a node\/consensus change \u2014 BeamHash III mining is unchanged<\/strong>, so your rigs keep working; only the node needs updating. We have updated our BEAM pool<\/a> node to stay on the canonical chain.<\/p>\n We updated our Kaspa node to Rusty Kaspa v2.0.1<\/strong>, the recommended release around the Toccata hard fork. Mining (kHeavyHash) is unaffected; the update improves node sync and operator tooling.<\/p>\n The release candidate we tested in May has shipped as stable 6.0.3<\/strong>. The most relevant change for miners: the node no longer tries to mine while it is still syncing, which avoids wasted, invalid candidates. It also fixes the mining-candidate cache for custom public keys and brings general sync and mempool improvements. Live on the ERG pool<\/a>.<\/p>\n A routine minor release with no consensus changes \u2014 maintenance and housekeeping only, with no action required from miners. Eaglesong mining is unchanged. Available on the CKB pool<\/a> and CKB SOLO<\/a>.<\/p>\n As defined by the Kaspa Tokenomics<\/a> and its smooth monthly emission schedule, Kaspa underwent another scheduled block reward reduction in June.<\/p>\n Please pay attention!<\/strong> Kaspa mining profitability has changed. We have already updated 2CryptoCalc<\/a> to reflect the new reward values. Mining is available on the KAS pool<\/a> and KAS SOLO<\/a>.<\/p>\n We have discontinued pool and SOLO operation for Neoxa (NEOX)<\/strong> and Cortex (CTXC)<\/strong>.
