However, due to <a href=\"https:\/\/t.me\/novosti2miners\/1520\">Gate.io discontinuing BTG deposits<\/a> in the coming days, we will no longer support BTC payouts for BTG mining.<\/p>\n<p>Effective immediately, all BTG mining payouts will be made exclusively in BTG.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What This Means for Miners:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>New BTG mining payouts will be processed in BTG only.<\/li>\n<li>Pending BTC payouts from recent days will still be processed, provided the exchange completes the necessary deposit transactions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We understand that changes like this can be inconvenient, and we appreciate your understanding as we adapt to evolving exchange policies.<\/p>\n<h2>Node Updates<\/h2>\n<h3>Zcash (ZEC) v6.1.0<\/h3>\n<p>The latest Zcash update, version 6.1.0, is a maintenance release designed to ensure the smooth operation of the network. This update sets a new end-of-service height, ensuring continued network functionality without disruptions. All Zcash miners are encouraged to update to this version to maintain uninterrupted mining.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/2miners.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/miner.jpg\" alt=\"miner\" width=\"1422\" height=\"800\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3081\" data-wp-pid=\"3081\" srcset=\"https:\/\/2miners.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/miner.jpg 1422w, https:\/\/2miners.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/miner-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/2miners.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/miner-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/2miners.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/miner-768x432.jpg 768w, https:\/\/2miners.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/miner-1200x675-cropped.jpg 1200w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1422px) 100vw, 1422px\" \/><\/p>\n<h3>Zephyr Protocol v2.0.2 &#8211; ZSD Yield (Hotfix)<\/h3>\n<p>The Zephyr Protocol has introduced version 2.0.2 as an emergency hotfix release, specifically targeting mining pools. This is a required update, and mining pools must upgrade to this version immediately.<\/p>\n<p>Exchanges have been advised to keep deposits and withdrawals suspended for the time being. Regular desktop users do not need to update, as a larger chain audit update is expected soon.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hardfork v7 Activation:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Activated at block 433000.<\/li>\n<li>Includes a crucial security update to address an issue discovered prior to the full audit update.<\/li>\n<li>Details of the hotfix will be disclosed after the transition to v7 is complete.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We strongly recommend all mining pools running Zephyr to update immediately to ensure network stability.<\/p>\n<h2>Block Reward Reductions<\/h2>\n<p>January 2025 saw scheduled block reward reductions for multiple cryptocurrencies in accordance with their emission schedules.
